Alaïa’s ‘Bombe’ sandals have been made in Italy from plush indigo velvet – each button is individually covered and applied by hand. Set on a slender stiletto heel, this pair is punctuated with gunmetal pyramid studs that were first used by the brand in 1979 to adorn a set of gloves. The smooth leather insoles are fitted with gel cushions to ensure they’re comfortable to wear all night long.
