There were a lot of famous faces who caught my attention at the Golden Globe Awards yesterday, but the most unforgettable face of the night would have to be Margot Robbie.
Let’s just say that I am now an instant fan of the Aussie actress. Margot, who earned rave reviews for her scene-stealing beauty in The Wolf of Wall Street, arrived at the event’s red carpet in a gorgeous white Gucci gown strategically embellished with crystals at the bodice, and a pair of emerald green satin d’Orsay peep-toe heels.
The dress was simple but elegant, AND it was very sexy as it featured a deep neckline plus a slit that went all the way up to her thigh. And thanks to the slit, I was able to get a good look at her amazing footwear. To be honest, I actually half-expected the usual — silver or gold strappy sandals, so the pop of green satin underneath the gown was more than just a pleasant surprise.

I looked up Margot’s shoes online and found out that they were from Christian Louboutin. No official word on which particular style from the label yet, but they remind me a lot of the “Volpi” pumps that came out a few seasons ago.
The Volpi features 6-inch tall sky-high heels, smooth emerald green satin uppers, vamps made out of straps that criss cross, and a very flattering d’Orsay silhouette. Take a look:
