Kendall Jenner is truly a cut above the Kardashian-Jenner brood. While her sister, Kylie, seems to have acquired a little bit of the Kardashian manner of dressing, Kendall’s style has evolved into one that is generally simple, chic, and elegant. She goes for pieces with clean lines and silhouettes, whether it’s for running errands or a red carpet appearance. Her taste in fashion is more understated rather than glamorous. But it’s just as well I guess, because even in simple clothing, she’s already quite a stunner.
On Friday, Kendall was spotted hailing a cab on a street in the Big Apple with her friend, Hilaria Baldwin. The leggy brunette wore a very casual ensemble for the outing that included some printed cropped pants and a black t-shirt. She capped off the combo with dark eyewear, a Celine purse, and black slip-on sneakers. The look was laid back and effortlessly cool. In fact, you could have easily mistaken her for just another New Yorker, only, a stunningly beautiful one at that.

How do you like Kendall’s latest street style? Do you approve?
You can actually steal her look if you want to. Kendall’s patterned pants are from Genetic Denim. You can score the piece online via Net-A-Porter. I don’t know where she got her t-shirt, but you can easily replace that with your very own classic black tee.

What actually surprised me were Kendall’s sporty kicks. I thought they were from some high-end label with a ridiculous price tag, but it turns out, they’re from Kenneth Cole. The shoes, dubbed as “King” are crafted from calfhair uppers and feature comfortable rubber soles that are about an inch thick. You can find the King sneakers at Bloomingdale’s if you want them. They retail at $150:

Ok, I agree. A price of $150 isn’t exactly cheap for a pair of sneakers, but these are crafted from exotic material and they look really well made. For those of you who don’t want to spend too much, there’s actually a similar style from the label’s REACTION line. Check out the “Salt N Pep”. It is constructed a little differently, but you still get the same look.

Once you’ve acquired the shoes and pants, simply finish your look with dark sunnies and a structured mini crossbody to steal Kendall’s effortlessly cool style.
