Vanessa Hudgens’ stint as Gigi on Broadway has finally come to a close. The brunette cutie performed her role for the last time on Sunday.

Does this mean we won’t be seeing any more of her chic boho-infused New York City style?

Perhaps. Or, maybe she will decide to move to New York for good. We will find out soon enough.

I guess V wanted her last day to feel extra special because she donned a 60s inspired gingham frock while on her way to the theater. The look was a deviation from her usual hippie-injected outfits. It was polished and perfectly pretty. It was also very feminine, ladylike, and I love the way she complemented it with the appropriate hairstyle, some pointed d’Orsay flats, as well as a boxy purse. The look was reminiscent of how a Stepford wife would probably dress, but it was also very much in tune with an era filled with grace, glam, and beauty — think Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.

Doesn’t she look lovely?

Vanessa’s gingham frock is from Dolce & Gabbana, while her purse is from Orka Mesica. You can find her statement sunnies, which retail at a hefty $265, over here.

Sadly, there are no details on Vanessa’s pointed flats. You can, however, substitute them with similar shoes from other labels. Try these options from Vince and Halogen, then team with a fit-and-flare midi frock like this one.
