Kate Beckinsale is such a stunning beauty that I think she could give her younger counterparts a run for their money. Technically, she’s British, but she has made so many movies in the US that she’s practically an import. Her latest film is The Face of an Angel, which is actually based on the real-life story of Amanda Knox.

Speaking of Kate, the actress was spotted looking classic in black and white as she left Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles after presenting at the 2014 American Music Awards earlier in the evening.  Her dinner-date look was effortlessly chic per usual. Despite the achromatic  appeal, Kate made the outfit extra interesting by teaming it with a Bulgari Serpentine necklace and a pair of edgy strappy wedges.

No doubt, if you look at these pictures, you’ll find that the shoes are doing all the talking. Those wedge pumps look fierce and very unique. Usually, we see Kate in classic pointy pumps, booties, or peep-toe heels, so this is quite a change.

Kate’s strappy wedges are by Casadei for Prabal Gurung. Sorry, they’re sold out everywhere so I don’t think you’ll get the chance to own a pair. However, here’s  closer look at the shoes so you can scrutinize them even further. They feature mesh uppers trimmed with patent leather, pointed toes, and gradient Lucite wedge heels:

Very fancy, indeed.

I literally couldn’t find anything similar, so I went looking for the next best thing — these strappy pointy pumps that may give you the fix if you don’t mind the stiletto heels.

On a side note, perhaps I can also interest you in these strappy wedges from Prada. Both feature futuristic heels that offer a lot drama to any outfit:
